My mom got us Elf on the Shelf this year for my birthday. After much debate and a vote we chose to name him Scoot. He was only around for a couple of days before Christmas, but the kids loved it! The first night he was hiding in our tree.
The second night he got a bowl of popcorn and decided to watch a movie. He has a cute story and I love the fact that he watches the kids all day and reports to Santa each night. What a fun new tradition for our family!

I love this!! I hear about it last year from a coworker. It sounds so fun! I'm totally doing this with Emma when she's older
