Chuckars

Sophia got to see her first Chuckars game on Tuesday and she loved it (I think). Since Brandon has been playing t-ball he was interested in all the rules of the game, but I think his favorite part was walking around with Sara and riding the elevator.
Thankfully it was a nice evening, but when the sun went down it got kind of chilly. The game was even better because the Chuckars won!

Yellowstone

All of the national parks had a free entrance weekend, so we drove to Yellowstone on the 20th. We saw this beautiful bald eagle in its nest and lots of bison and deer.

The last time we were here we drove north, so this time we we went south. We went on lots of walks to stretch our legs and overall Sophia was very good.
We went all the way down to see Old Faithful and got lunch and ice cream. It rained off and on all day, but whenever we were outside it would stop. Sophia slept a lot and it was kind of chilly, so Ben got to watch Old Faithful from inside the lodge. I love going to Yellowstone and seeing all of the beautiful scenery and amazing animals free in their natural habitat.

Sara's birthday party

We finally had Sara's birthday party last friday.  She wanted a Hawaiian Luau theme so they played games like surf's up and musical towels.  They also made grass skirts, lei's and tissue paper flowers.
Sophia did really well and just laid there most of the time.  Brandon was kind of annoying and I wish I had found a friend he could play with so he would leave the girls alone.
Sara got lots of fun presents and for her cake this year she wanted cheesecake.  I was more than happy not to make one and we found this box of cheesecake bites at Sam's Club, so they could try some of the different flavors.  When the party was done and I had cleaned up for an hour I told her I never want to do a party again!  I would much rather let her invite a friend or two and go the movies or something.

T-ball

Brandon is so excited to be playing t-ball again.  I love it because it's only one month out of the summer.  He is more confident this year, but still needs to work on paying attention and keeping his eyes on the ball all the time!
