LOVE

Sara loves her sister.  She wants to hold her all the time and wishes she could feed her (I kind of wish she could too).  Even when she is upset and crying Sara will do everything she can think of to calm her down.


Sara asks if she can change her diaper every couple of hours.  Of course I let her and I try not to fix it when she is done.  She is such a big help!

Sophia Grace Jensen

Okay, so nothing I was doing worked to get her here. I had the doctor break my water Thursday night and she was born at 2:30am Friday morning. No more unhappy blogs, because she is finally here and everyone is healthy- just a little tired. So far she is a very good baby! She is very easy going and sleeps a lot. It took her a while to eat, but she finally got the hang of it and is sleeping again. Now if only I felt tired enough to take a nap......maybe after I eat lunch.

Spicy burrito?

So my lovely younger sister with no kids called today and was probably a bit surprised when I bit her head off.  I am not happy still being pregnant.  She suggested that I eat something spicy and being desperate I did.  I made Ben go to Taco Bell with the instructions of getting me the spiciest burrito they have and some fire sauce.  He came back with a spicy chicken burrito, extra jalapeno sauce and plenty of fire sauce.  Let's see if this works!

Stubborn

Can anyone tell me why this baby is not cooperating with my wishes? I am doing everything possible to get her out and she is just being stubborn. I am done, but don't want to be induced. She has until Thursday to decide to come out on her own, then I am going to give in and tell my doctor to bring on the pitocin (as much as I dislike it). I keep thinking that maybe there is a reason and something bad is going to happen this week, but maybe she just knows when her birthday is and hasn't yet shared the information with me. Anyways- I am doing my best not to get discouraged, but we really want to see her and hold her. Send the love my way PLEASE!
